The Art of Frolicking: Fire Escapes

While its intended function has been rendered nearly obsolete in the 21st century, the fire escape is one of the most intriguing structures to view & photograph in urban landscapes. I used to daydream about dining al fresco on a fire escape, but never lived in a building that could safely accommodate such a fantasy.
