The Art of Frolicking: Introduction

I spent a significant period of my life obsessing over lavender, so much so that it led to my first solo trip to Provence, France where I cycled and promenaded through endless fields of lavender for a week. This experience substantiated the meaning of frolicking for me.

Frolicking captures the merriment of time well-spent; it is the freedom to explore and find joy in our curiosities, even if that simply means obsessing over mundanities. Frolicking is also a catalyst for inspiration—it is the conduit through which we can pursue our creative endeavors.

The images* I share here are totems of frolics past. Each section, arranged in no particular order, explores a theme or location as depicted by my point of view. Welcome to The Art of Frolicking.
