The Art of Frolicking: Power Lines

A significant portion of New York City’s electrical grid is underground, so I rarely noticed or thought about power lines until I returned to Philadelphia. Power lines are an integral component of civil infrastructure; yet, as an aesthete of sorts I initially found them visually obstructive. In time, however, I developed a strange fondness for them. I mean… they’re not going anywhere, right?
